Nisthar Cassim is the Founding Editor and Chief Executive of the Daily FT, Sri Lanka’s first and only national daily business newspaper since 2009. He is a senior journalist and editor with over 20 years of experience.
He has worked in several newspaper brands in Sri Lanka, including The Island and the Ceylon Daily News as a business journalist, and the Daily Mirror where he last served as the Editor before launching the Daily FT.
He is also a member of the Editors Guild of Sri Lanka and has travelled extensively to cover global events as well as Sri Lanka initiatives internationally.

Major General Milinda Peiris served in the army for 36 year and reached the pinnacle of his career by serving as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
Prior to being the Chief of Staff, he was appointed as the Vice Chancellor (VC) of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU). During his tenure, he established nine faculties of KDU, which became nationally and internationally known. Further, he developed the University Hospital concept of KDU as a tertiary care hospital.
During his service as the VC of KDU he was contemporaneously appointed as the Director General of the Centre for Research and Development, Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Military Secretary to the Army Headquarters. He was also appointed as the Defence, Military, Naval and Air Attaché for Sri Lanka in Washington, D.C, USA.
He was appointed as a Committee Member in the National Education Commission and in the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. He was a Member of the Board of Management of Defence Services Command & Staff College, the Committee of Vice Chancellors & Directors (CVCD), Sri Lanka, the Standing Committee on Quality Assurance Accreditation of the University Grant Commission.
He is serving as a member of the advisory council of the Institute of National Security Studies, Sri Lanka (INSSSL). Further to the above, he presently serves as the Vice Chancellor / CEO at Saegis Campus.

Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara was a diplomat in the Sri Lanka Foreign Service for 37 years.
During her career, she served in the Sri Lanka Missions in Italy, Canada and the United Kingdom. She was appointed as the High Commissioner for Sri Lanka to Singapore, Ambassador for the Republic of France and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, and High Commissioner to Canada. She also worked in various capacities in the bilateral and multilateral Divisions in the Foreign Ministry.
Mrs. Wagiswara was appointed as the Foreign Secretary in January 2015, a position she held until July 2016. She also served as the High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in India from September 2016 to October 2018.
Mrs. Wagiswara holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Studies from the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies, and a Diploma in International Relations from the Graduate Institute for International Studies, Geneva.
