2. Does the LKI conduct courses?
No, we do not. However, our sister institute, the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute, offers courses for prospective students. For more information, please refer to their website: http://bidti.lk
3. How do I contact the Executive Director or Members of the Board of Management?
If you wish to contact the Executive Director, please send an email to email@example.com. We do not provide the contact details of Members of the Board to the general public.
4. Is the LKI library open to the general public?
We are currently cataloguing our collection of books and other publications. After this is completed, we plan to develop membership programmes that will enable access for organisations and individuals to the library collection for reference material.
5. Is the LKI part of the Foreign Ministry?
The LKI is a statutory institution that receives financial and other support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. By statute, the Chairman of the Board of Management is the incumbent Minister of Foreign Affairs. However, the Board of Management, comprising the Chairman and eight other members, operates independently of the Ministry.
